Palo Verde is the central painting in the Galaxy triptych. The 3 paintings are composed of sections excised from a larger painting, which I rearranged to imagine a new composition. All 3 paintings feature a cool neutral background inhabited by swirling, energetic medallions in a subtly brilliant color palette.
