Morning Shadows
A wide, footpath dominates the foreground, with strongly cast shadows and fluid washes which break up flat planes of gray. The path curves gracefully through shrubbery and trees to meet the horizon near the top edge. This painting contains a balanced palette of warm greens, blue grays and neutral tones.
