Tusk
Tusk is the left side painting in the Galaxy triptych. The 3 paintings are composed of sections excised from a larger painting, which I rearranged to imagine a new composition. All 3 paintings feature a cool neutral background inhabited by swirling, energetic medallions in subtly brilliant color palette. Tusk is titled for the curving stroke entering the frame.
